Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and received asylum to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters. She was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career by being featured in numerous National Commercials. The Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara an appearance for which she was awarded a film festival best actress nomination. The actress has also appeared on television programs like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. The most recent role she has played is an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. In season 2 Night Shift, she played the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada was cast in the role of Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage. In 2009, she starred in on the Tough Trade pilot from Weeds' creator Jenji Cohan and executive-producer T Bone Burnett.
