Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American sportscaster. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation at times. Her first assignment with ESPN in 2016. Her mother is the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been for a long time, starting at her age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then, in St. Petersburg, she was later employed by the CBS station to work as an sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. The couple divorced shortly after in 1995. Her mother was remarried to one of the naval architects known as Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was during a holiday in the summer that she lived with her younger sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered an employment. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. In the end she fell in love with the school. They also offered her a major. Following the completion of the requirements for high school, she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They had a very close relationship. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
