Regan didn't have any intention of being a TV host or a journalist back when she was a student. Her passion was music. Regan longed to become an opera singer. There were music classes at several reputed schools. Regan's first job was with an investment firm. Then she was offered to join CBS MarketWatch. The position was as a commercial correspondent for the show CBS Evening News. Regan was later promoted to CNBC, where she created and hosted daily markets programs. While working at CNBC Regan was awarded an Emmy award for Best Documentary. Regan briefly worked for Bloomberg Television. Regan has a popular show on Fox News Channel. She is employed by Fox News as a business reporter. Regan has received numerous prizes and distinctions for her integrity in and honest reporting. She was also harshly criticised for her controversial statements about various subjects.
